We are a continuously growing 3PL warehouse provider with a dedicated staff looking to attract professional leaders to support our goal of fulfilling orders as quickly and accurately as possible. You will play a key role in directing our associates to ensure the procedures are completed within the client's Service Level Agreement (SLA). The warehouse lead performs general warehouse operations and supports management by acting as first line of support for associates.  
 
RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Monitor employee performance to provide feedback to management and employees. 
  • Oversee the training and cross-training of team members on the proper execution of warehouse duties, ensure policies and procedures are followed.  
  • Lead and delegate a variety of order fulfillment tasks while working within SLA. 
  • Oversee day to day processing of all inbound shipments and returns. 
  • Ensure inbound ASNs are scanned into the system as soon as they enter the facility.  
  • Make sure SLA is met daily and advise the Client Relations team if SLA is not going to be met.  
  • Ensure that ASNs are verified and scanned throughout the day.  
  • Ensure all electronic devices are charging and in proper location.  
  • Communicate with the Warehouse Manager and Floor Supervisor to keep them updated throughout the day. 
  • Ensure work and storage areas are in a safe, clean, and tidy condition. 
  • Demonstrate and lead the performance of specialized clerical, and documentation duties.  
  • Demonstrate and lead in other duties as assigned by management.  
  • Exercise independent judgment to determine best approach to achieve desired outcomes.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS  
  • Warehousing experience (2+ years); Lead experience is preferred 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Basic mathematical skills 
  • Ability to prioritize duties, follow through on given assignments, and be detail-oriented 
  • Experience in leading personnel to ensure all assigned activities are performed effectively and efficiently 
  • Can be nimble and adapt to changing priorities.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and other departments. 
  • Effective communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills  
  • Knowledge of Windows or MacOS software  
  • Professional use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)  
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, energy, and drive
